Methacton 4, Harriton 0 >> Emily Owens scored two goals to key the Warriors’ victory over Harriton in their “Play 4 The Cure” game.

Owens scored Methacton’s second and third goals after Julia Dickinson, assisted by Sara Sterchak, got the locals on the board at the 24:39 mark of the first half. Following Owens’ tallies – both coming in the first half, assisted by Olivia Hoover and Gretchen Alderfer – the Warriors closed out with Jackie Cerchio’s unassisted score at the 15:10 mark of the second half.

Sara Park made four goalie saves to secure the shutout for Methacton (10-2), which held 23-4 and 11-1 leads in shots on goals and corner shots, respectively.
