Maddie Friend scored on a feed from Nina Scott with 4:37 left in the first quarter, both teams taking a 1-1 stalemate into the second frame. Downingtown East outshot Spring-Ford 12-6, while the Rams held a 7-6 advantage in corner opportunities. Anna Powers made four saves for Downingtown East and Norah Kirsch had nine saves for Spring-Ford.
