After trailing by three goals leading up to the waning minutes of Spring-Ford’s tilt against Henderson, the Rams cut the game to one score late before taking the loss. Maddie Friend scored a goal at the 6:12 mark in the fourth quarter on a look from Eva Drumbore. Friend then assisted Julia Corropolese with just 1:03 left to play.
Following a scoreless first quarter, Lucy Donnelly found the back of the cage in the second for the initial goal of the game. Donnelly scored her second goal of the game in the following frame and Kristina Cobb tacked on another early in the fourth.
Spring-Ford outshot Henderson 8-7 and had four corners, just one less than the Warriors. Katie McCreary recorded four saves in net for Spring-Ford. Megan Wackerman registered five saves for Henderson.
