Highlights: Hannah Ulrich, assisted by Delaney Fox off a cross ball by Dulin, scored the game-winner in the fourth quarter as Boyertown won its season opener. After trailing 1-0 in the first half on a D-East goal, Boyertown started the second half strong, dominating the play and getting its reward on a corner goal by Katelyn Dulin (assist by Peyton Shellaway) in the last five minutes of the third quarter. Shellaway scored on a stroke early in the fourth to stake the Bears a 2-1 lead. Downingtown scored in the final 10 seconds of the match for the final margin.
Bear goalie Sarah Yoder made eight saves.
