The Boyertown field hockey team pitched its second straight shutout to start the season Monday.

Sarah Yoder saved all nine shots she faced, helping the Bears pick up a 2-0 victory over Pioneer Athletic Conference rival Spring-Ford.Katelyn Dulin scored a goal and an assist, and Nina Caprio scored a goal for Boyertown.

Remi Lloyd and Lauren Eves helped Dulin and Caprio on offense, while Jaz Fink, Mary Catherine Maloney and Kaelin Drey led a strong defensive outing in front of Yoder
