Bayla Plower’s goal off an assist from Rachel Alderfer with 24 seconds left secured a 3-2 Pioneer Athletic Conference Liberty win for Methacton over Spring-Ford on Monday.

 

Alderfer scored two goals in the game, including one off an assist from Plower, and made two defensive saves. Kelly O’Donnell saved four shots for the Warriors.

 

After falling behind by two goals in the second half, Spring-Ford’s Julia Corropolese made the score 2-1 with 7:36 to go in the game. Rams’ Alexa Collins tied the game with 2:39 left before Plower’s heroics spoiled the comeback bid. Ashley Della Guardia saved 12 shots for Spring-Ford.
