Recap
It fixed an early problem Tuesday.
In a big way, too.
The Hill School boys soccer team found itself down a goal to Kiski School in their Pa. Independent Schools Athletic Association (PAISAA) Tournament quarterfinal, due to a miscommunication. It proved a minor problem, however, as the Blues scored four unanswered points to secure a 4-1 victory at Price Turf Field.
A natural hat trick by Greg Zimmerman set the pace for top-seeded Hill. Zimmerman scored in the 19th minute (from Zach Barrett), the 23rd (from Josh Shepherd) and 44th (from Patrick Adams).
Phillip Bell notched his first goal of the year in the 48th minute, Alex Tullman on the assist. Chris Kingston contributed five-save goaltending to the Blues’ effort against eighth-seeded Kiski.
The Hill will host fourth seed Mercersburg Thursday in a semifinal-round game at Pricel.
