Daniel Boone 4, Gov. Mifflin 3 >> Brendan Valverde figured in on three of the Blazers’ goals as they edged the Mustangs in Berks Conference play.

Valverde scored twice and assisted on Matt Glady’s tally in the first half. Jamie Burns provided the capper for Boone at the 8:08 mark of the second half, assisted by Ben Hofmanner. Greg Blume was credited with the assist on Valverde’s first goal, and Nathan Leon Guerrero made seven goalkeeper saves.
