Great Valley opened the 2018 season with a 1-0 win over Phoenixville. After a scoreless 70 minutes of back and forth action GV got the winning goal when Miguel Fuentes knocked in a Matthew Wellener corner kick.  Quintin Wrabley (5 saves) posted the shutout in goal for GV with outstanding team defense led by Dean Fitzgerald, David Siguenza, Elvin Baci and Duncan Barth.
