Reporter Boys Soccer Roundup: Souderton edges Pennridge; Lansdale Catholic blanks Bonner & Prendergast
Reece DiRenzi broke a scoreless tie late in the second half for the Souderton boys soccer team Tuesday, finding the back of the net in the 74th minute off a Sage Scarlett assist as the Indians edge visiting Pennridge for a 1-0 SOL Continental Conference win.
Riley Finger made four saves for Souderton (4-1-2, 2-1-2 conference), which won its second straight and is unbeaten in its last four (3-0-1). The loss drops Pennridge to 5-2-1 (1-2-1).
Lansdale Catholic 6, Bonner & Prendergast 0 >> Brendan MacKay scored twice while Evan Senour handed out two assists as Lansdale Catholic blanked Bonner & Prendergast for a PCL victory.
Declan Mahoney added a goal and assist while Declan Ward recorded his sixth shutout for the Crusaders (6-1-1-, 4-0-0 1 league.
Sean Cole, Jake Kollman and Tom Cusumano each had goal for LC — Cusumano converting a penalty kick. Cory Toburen and Mike Niemann both had an assist.

Springfield-Montco 3, Upper Moreland 1 >> Grant Williams scored twice as Springfield pulled away in the second half to snap a four-game skid.
Leo Castro also scored for the Spartans (2-4-0, 1-4-0 SOL American). Dylan Swedberg had the goal for Upper Moreland (3-5-0, 1-4-0). The contest was tied 1-1 at halftime.
