Brisbois, Benning lead Bears to win over Upper Merion
With all the scoring in the second half, the Bears rallied to prevail over the Vikings in a non-divisional pairing of PAC schools.
Colin Brisbois and Drew Benning each scored after Trevor Looby got UM on the scoreboard by converting a direct kick. Jimmy Towers was credited with assists on both Bear goals.
Methacton 6, Pottsgrove 0 >> Vince Delisi scored twice to lead the Warriors to a PAC cross-divisional win over the Falcons.
Delisi had two goals while Chris Meehan (assist) TJ Taylor, Aleks Mularz and Matt Kahn added solo tallies. Mason LeSage made three saves to preserve the shutout. Pottsgrove keeper Ryan Long made eight saves.
Spring-Ford 7, Pope John Paul II 2 >> Colin Trainor notched three points as the Rams rallied for five second-half goals during their PAC crossover win against the Golden Panthers.
Trainor (assist) and Aidan Hudon each scored twice while Johnny Guimareas, Brett Gulati and Gabe Locke registered solo goals. Nathan Alban, Nick Gloneck and Abdulla Nuredini each had assists while Hunter Hudak made three saves in goal. Colin Flanegin scored both PJP goals.
Owen J. Roberts 3, Upper Perkiomen 0 >> Matt Pron scored twice for the Wildcats in their non-divisional PAC win over the Indians.
Nolan Smith added a goal while Beckett Houck and Gavin Delahaye each added an assist. OJR moved to 2-5 overall with the win and Upper Perk dropped to 1-5 on the season.
