Barrie strengthens Penn Wood’s hold on Del Val lead
Penn Wood’s Abdulia Barrie scored the game-winner in the 75th minute to lead a 1-0 Del Val League victory over Interboro Thursday.
Barrie’s shot from inside the 18 was momentarily caught by Interboro goalie Vinny Mormando (20 saves), but a collision in front of the net jarred it loose and across the line.
Goodwill Agbaaden made the saves for the Patriots (9-3, 7-0), who have beaten the Bucs twice.

Academy Park 10, Glen Mills 1 >> Owen Ede scored four times to go with an assist, and Tahjay Swaby and Kho Tuang each paired a goal with three assists for the Knights (8-8, 4-3). Stephen Hawkins tallied for the Bulls.

Bonner & Prendergast 3, Archbishop Carroll 0 >> Kaito Kitazawa notched a brace, and Bach Clifton also scored for the Friars. Tony Harper made 10 saves for the shutout.
In the Central League:
Haverford 6, Springfield 1 >> Cam Morse and Matt Billbrough scored twice a piece, and Alex Reardon and Sean Cannon each dished a pair of assists as the Fords (10-5, 5-4) won a fifth straight game.
Garnet Valley 2, Upper Darby 1 >> Brett Homka and Jacob Schwien each scored their first varsity goals to pace the Jags.
Mohamed Camara had given the Royals a lead.
Conestoga 5, Penncrest 0 >> Kieran Wilmot turned aside 11 shots for the Lions (10-4-1, 5-3-1).
In the Bicentennial League:
Christian Academy 3, Phil-Mont Christian 1 >> Caleb Robinson scored twice off feeds from Jake Sitkowski, and Jesse Brittain also scored for the Crusaders.
