Abington 8, Methacton 7 >> The Warriors were edged by the Galloping Ghosts in their home opener.

While outscoring Abington 5-4 in the second half, Methacton was unable to overcome the initial deficit (2-0 first quarter, 4-2 half). Jack Pellegrino and Kyle McKelvey led the team with two goals and one assist each, and Mike Merola added another pair of goals while Matt Wall provided 17-save goaltending.
