Hill School 14, St. Andrew’s (Del.) 2 >> The Blues ushered in their 2019 campaign with a victory against St. Andrew’s School (Del.).

Hill was led offensively by junior Carter Page, who had an outstanding game with five goals and two assists. Midfield play was well-balanced, with a number of players tallying goals: Nolan Smith, Patrick Neiswender and Alex Kiviniemi each had two goals, while Carter Straub, Nico McCurrach and Jay Luce had single tallies.

Between the box tops, Hill rode well and capitalized on unsettled situations throughout the contest. Hill’s defense foiled St. Andrews’ offense throughout the day, limiting them to just seven shots on goal. Patrick Vonn Dyke and Cooper Sugden combined to win 80 percent of faceoffs for the game.
