Boys lacrosse
North Penn 7, Springfield Twp. 3: Caiden Myers scored two goals as the Knights won on Thursday. Also scoring for NP were Colin Ponyi, Brendan Homoney, Emerson Morelli and Ryan Bocklet.
Girls lacrosse
Springfield Twp. 14, Green Farms Academy 11: Emma Yoder scored four goals and added two assists as the Spartans won their season-opener on Wednesday. Fiona Rizzo added three goals and three asssists, while Maddie McDevitt added two goals. Shannon Silvus also scored twice, while Stella Nelson, Amelia Price and Frankie Rizzo also scored goals.
Abington 11, Neshaminy 2: The Ghosts took a 6-1 lead after one half and coasted to the victory over Neshaminy on Thursday. Katie Pennekamp scored five goals, while Audrey Silverman added two. Haley Hamsher, Maddy Garry, Carly Hughes and Harper McGinley also scored for Abington.
Archbishop Carroll 18, Conwell-Egan 0: The Patriots began its quest for a 22nd straight PCl title with a shutout of Egan. 18 players scored and goalie Bridget Robinson pitched the shutout with three saves. Goalie Olivia Belushi had five saves for Egan.
Baseball
Quakertown 10, Pennridge 0: Vinny Pellegrini went three innings of shutout ball and backed it up with two hits and two RBIs for the Panthers on Wednesday. Cooper Natisin added two innings of relief and also doiubled, while Nate Scheetz hit a home run.
Boys volleyball
Souderton 3, CB East 0: The Indians swept to the victory on Thursday behind 18 kills and four blocks from Nate Brown. Derek Gilmore added 8 kills and four blocks for Souderotn, while Ian Nice added 7 kills, 4 blocks and 3 aces. Matt Quizon added four kills and six blocks, while Levi Leatherman chipped in with 33 assists and 2 blocks.
