Reporter/Times Herald Boys Lacrosse Roundup: LC rolls past Archbishop Carroll; North Penn wins 4th straight
Lansdale Catholic 14, Archbishop Carroll 1 >> Pat McKeever scored five goals and collected four assists and Lansdale Catholic shutout Archbishop Carroll over the last three quarters to cruise to a Philadelphia Catholic League victory Friday.
Mikey Kleinert tallied four goals and also had an assist for the Crusaders, who led 10-1 at halftime. Connor Mann had three goals and four assists while Colin Corbett added two goals and two assists.
LC had a combined 10 saves from goalkeepers Connor Flanegan (7 saves) and Jack Kennedy (3 saves).
North Penn 8, Council Rock South 4 >> Connor Toussaint recorded a hat trick while goalkeeper Matt Kuhn made 13 saves as North Penn went on the road and picked up their fourth win in a row.
Dakari Luby finished with two goals and an assist for the Knights (4-1, 2-0 SOL National), who led 4-1 at halftime then in the fourth quarter held off Council Rock South (0-3, 0-2 SOL National) by outscoring the Golden Hawks 3-1.
Lars Homan finished with a goal and two assists for NP while Ryan McCann and Declan Lanier each had goal.
Central Bucks South 11, Souderton 5 >> Souderton’s Jamison McDivitt scored two goals and handed out two assists as the Indians lost their second straight.
John Martin Vince and Ty Quintos each had a goal and an assist for Souderton (3-2, 1-2 SOL National) while Kobi Bui added a goal.
Central Bucks South (2-1, 2-0 SOL National) won its second straight.
Council Rock North 6, Pennridge 5 (OT) >> Pennridge goalie Kieran Banks posted 19 saves but host Council Rock North struck in overtime to win the SOL National contest.
Jake Stranix scored twice for the Rams (2-2, 1-1 conference) while Chris Fanelli, Drew Ferguson and Ryan Carickhoff each had a goal. CR North improved to 3-1 (1-1).
