Reporter Boys Lacrosse Roundup: North Penn, CB West stay unbeaten in SOL National
Lucas Yannul finished with four goals and an assist as the North Penn boys lacrosse team pulled away in the second half to beat Neshaminy 13-7 for a SOL National Conference victory Tuesday.
Stephen Rinck had two goals and an assist while Danny Payne, Dakari Luby and Jake Homan all scored twice for the Knights (9-6, 6-0 conference), who won their third straight.
NP led 7-5 at halftime, outscored the Redskins (7-6, 1-5) in the third quarter 4-2 then collected the only two goals of the fourth.
Will Morrow won 14 faceoffs for the Knights while North Penn goalkeeper Bryon Rimmer made five saves.
Central Bucks West 7, Central Bucks South 5 >> Erik Ojert and Jake Ojert each had two goals and an assist as Central Bucks West built a 5-2 halftime lead then held off visiting Central Bucks South.
David Ross added a goal and an assist while Garrett Hitchens won 9-of-15 faceoffs for the Bucks (11-2, 6-0 SOL National). Collin Abbonizio paced the Titans (7-8, 2-5 SOL National) with two goals.
Both goaltenders — West’s Max Dunar, South’s Colin Bernstein — made 12 saves.
