Kaufman’s seven-goal outburst fuels Fords’ win
Kevin Kaufman scored seven goals, and Bob McClure tallied four times while dishing eight assists, as Haverford put on an offensive clinic in running all over Rustin, 19-10, Saturday in nonleague boys lacrosse.
Jack Daly paired four goals with three assists, and Luke McCallion and Nick DiIorio each accounted for two goals and a helper for the Fords (3-0).
In other nonleague action:
Springfield 9, Great Valley 4 >> Kyle Long dished four assists while Mike Vent, Joe DeBernardi, Mike Gerzabek and Jack Spence each potted a pair of goals as the Cougars got their first win of the season.
James Spence was outstanding in goal, making nine saves for Springfield (1-2).
Marple Newtown 19, Neshaminy 7 >> Alex Viola produced five goals and two assists, and Tyler Kostack (two goals, three assists) and Christian Xitas (three goals, assist) aided the attack for the unbeaten Tigers.
Alex Funk, Anthony Patrone and Jake Franks scored two goals apiece for Marple (4-0).
Ridley 12, Central Bucks West 2 >> Brock Anderson scored four times to go with two assists, Devon Tavani notched a hat trick and Cade Heverly went 11 for 13 at the X and scored a goal.
Brendan Risley made 11 saves in goal for the Green Raiders (4-1).
