Souderton 55, CB East 44, OT: Levi John scored 16 points as the Indians stunned the SOL Colonial leaders on Friday night. After letting a 14-point lead disappear in the fourth quarter, Souderton rallied with an 11-0 burst in overtime. Aiden Maue added 15 points and Cnahse Salone scored 14 for Souderton. Jacob Cummiskey scored 14 points to pace East.
Dock Mennonite 53, LaAcademia Charter 48: Nathan Lapp scored 17 points on Friday as Dock improved to 19-2 on the season. Ethan Parr sparked the Pioneers with 8 points off the bench, while AJ Washington added 10.
Girls basketball
Plymouth Whitemarsh 52, Dobbins Tech 22: The Colonials jumped out to a 20-4 lead and coasted to the nonconference win on Friday. Nine players scored in all for PW (19-2, 14-1), which will celebrate its Senior Night on Tuesday against Wissahickon with a chance to clinch the SOL Liberty title. Azzy Crumpton led the Colonials with 10 points.
Upper Moreland 55, Cheltenham 36: Holly Gohl scored 10 of her game-high 23 points in the first quarter as the Golden Bears were in charge from the start on Friday night. Paige Powell added 16 points for the Panthers.
Abington 63, Wissahickon 40: The Ghosts led 20-10 after one quarter and coasted to the SOL Liberty win on Friday night. Kaitlyn McGeary led Wiss with 20 points and 13 reboundes.
Wrestling
Germantown Friends School 45, Academy of the New Church 42: The Lions won by fall five times, but dropped the final two bouts on Friday. Winning by fall for ANC were Dylan Trotman, Luke Hyland, Trent Layton, Aharon Bloshuk and Brady Carver.
