Archbishop Wood 86, Conwell-Egan 62: Jahlil Bethea scored 23 points to lead the Vikings to a PCL win Wednesday. Michael Green added 13 points, Carson Howard 11 and Josh Reed 10.
Girls Basketball
Council Rock South 50, Wissahickon 32: Kaitlyn McGeary scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the Trojans loss Wednesday. Claira Baldasano added eight points and four rebounds while Kylie Friedman had six points. CR South won the middle quarters by a combined score of 33-11 to take control of the game.
Boys Bowling
North Penn 3, Abington 1: The Knights closed out the regular season with a win over the Ghosts Wednesday. Chase Leckner rolled a night-high game of 259 and a night-high series of 662. Tyler Caiazzo rolled a 191 series, Kevin Tagert 202, Ben Tucker 212 and Ryan Baker 216. High roller for the Ghost was Jason Weaver with games of 238, 183 and 209 for a 630 series.
Girls Bowling
North Penn 4, Abington 0: The Lady Knights closed the regular season with a sweep over the Ghosts. Senior Megan Loughery ended her final year leading the way, rolling games of 130, 123 and 133 for a night-high series 386. Teammates Angela Pham had a 373 series, Anna Weatherwax 333, Vanessa Blissman 275 and Ariana DellaPolla 269 . High roller for the Ghost was Grace Elliot with games of 128, 137 and 115 for a 380 series.
