Boys Basketball
Central Bucks East 61, Pennridge 46: Jacob Cummiskey scored 22 points and added 6 rebounds as the Patriots won big on Friday night in SOL Colonial action. Kyle Berndt also added 10 points and 10 rebounds for CB East, while Tyler Dandrea also scored 10 points. Pennridge was paced by Jake Buesing and Matthew Campione with 10 points apiece.

Upper Merion 69, Pottstown 68: Nick Smiley poured in 25 points as the Vikings won the PAC Frontier thriller on Friday night. Elijah Davis delivered in the fourth quarter as he scored 8 of his 10 points in the final frame.

Methacton 49, Perkiomen Valley 47: Alex Hermann hit two free throws down the stretch to seal the win for the Warriors in their PAC opener on Friday night. Hermann finished with 23 points for Methacton (5-1, 1-0). Matt Christian added nine points, all 3-pointers for the Warriors.

Quakertown 64, Wissahickon 49: Miles Longacre scored 26 points for the Panthers on Friday night in a SOL Liberty contest. Jaylon Williams led Wiss with 14.

Girls Basketball
Perkiomen Valley 36, Methacton 28: The Warriors were outscored 14-3 in the final quarter and dropped the PAC contest on Friday night. Methacton led 25-22 entering the fourth quarter. Mairi Smith scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Cassidy Kropp added 7 in the defensive slugfest for the Warriors (2-3, 0-1).

Upper Moreland 61, Springfield-Montco 17: Holly Gohl and Emmy Faith Wood hooked up for 22 points during a 43-13 first half for the Golden Bears on Tuesday night. Gohl finished with 16 points and Wood with 15 in the win.

Pope John Paul II 47, Pottsgrove 25: Rylee Derecola scored all 10 of her points in the second half when the Golden Panthers closed the game with a 28-13 run on Friday night en route to the victory. PJP opened the third quarter with an 18-3 run and never looked back. Katie Nilles also scored 8 points for PJP.

Norristown 47, Interboro 31: Azjiona Golston scored 20 points as the Eagles rolled to the nonconference win on Friday night. Brianna Minick added 9 points for Norristown.

Manasquan (N.J.) 55, Archbishop Carroll 45: The Patriots led 41-33 entering the fourth quarter, but could not hold onto the lead on Friday night at the She Got Game Tournament. Taylor Wilson led Carroll with 21 points, while Olivia Nardi added 9. Carroll will continue in the tournament tomorrow and play Abington.
