It is believed to be the first quadruple overtime in the team’s history.
The Trojans were not to be denied Thursday night. While junior forward Zach Reiner did a workman’s job of scoring a team-high 19 points, the Trojans also received huge clutch baskets from junior guard Chaz Owens and senior forward Shane Ford during the extra periods.
The game was a seesaw event the entire night, but when the smoke cleared, the Trojans were victorious and ended a three game skid.
