HIGHLIGHTS: Though Aaliyah Freeman came away with game scoring honors for the Falcons, the Vikings used a strong second quarter to get in front and hold on for victory in Thursday’s PAC Frontier Division game.

Freeman hit for nine of her 17 points off three 3-point baskets. But Riley Anderson, UM’s scoring leader with 14, went 10-for-10 from the foul line to set the tone for the visitors’ solid free-throw game, which saw them make 17 of 21 tries.

HIGHLIGHTS: Mairi Smith headed a trio of double-figure scorers that lifted the Warriors over the Wildcats in PAC Liberty Division action Thursday.

Smith’s 13-point showing tied her with OJR’s Avery White for game scoring honors, and she also contributed seven rebounds to Methacton’s cause. Other high scorers for the Warriors were Nicole Timko (11 points) and Cassidy Kropp (10).

HIGHLIGHTS: Ty Jones and Kalil Lawson combined for 25 points to lead the Vikings past the Falcons in their Pioneer AthletiC Conference (Frontier Division) game.

Jones had a game-high 15 points while Lawson added 10. For Pottsgrove, Manny Allen led the way with 10 points.

HIGHLIGHTS: Joshua McKoy scored 18 points, Noah Archambault had 13 points and Alejandro Montero added 10 points to lead the Mounts past the Blazers in Thursday’s pairing of Berks League teams.

Brendan Gaines was Boone’s leading scorer with 10.
