Twenty five days after being blown out on its home floor, Methacton returned the favor on Spring-Ford on Jan. 30 with a 22-point rout of the Rams, who took their first Pioneer Athletic Conference Liberty Division loss of the year.
Sal Iemmello scored a game-high 15 points and Alex Hermann added 12 and Christian Matos 11 for the winning Warriors (7-2 Liberty, 9-3 PAC, 14-6 overall).
EJ Campbell’s 11 were tops for Spring-Ford (8-1, 11-1, 16-5), which suffered its biggest loss of the year.
Methacton’s win creates intrigue in the final week of the regular season with Spring-Ford still in first at 8-1 and Methacton and Perkiomen Valley tied at 7-2. SF and PV meet Thursday in their division finales.
