The Trojans’ three senior standouts were all on their games Thursday night as Pottstown pulled ahead in the third quarter to edge Pope John Paul II in PAC Frontier action.
Abdul Jackson (game-high 25 points) and Jurrell Young (21) took over in a 28-point third quarter, scoring 10 and 13 respectively, that opened a seven-point lead for the Trojans. Sadeeq Jackson added 21 for Pottstown, which sits atop the division at 7-1 (9-2 PAC) and 13-5 overall.
Caleb Zavertnik and Jason Green each netted 17 for the Golden Panthers (4-4, 4-7, 6-10).
