Southern Lehigh 68, Boyertown 50 >> The Bears saw Marcus Thomas’ game-high scoring go for naught as they fell to the Spartans in the opening round of the Boyertown Holiday Tournament.

Thomas hit for 16 points, putting him ahead of the matching 14s by SL’s Jacob Cassel and Jack Zamichieli. But Boyertown found itself down by a 22-9 count after one quarter and 48-21 at the half, though Jerry Kapp was able to contribute another nine points.
