An ideal first half saw Pope John Paul II hold its counterpart to 12 points and owned a 31-12 lead at the break before rolling to a 74-48 victory in a District 1-4A semifinal at home on Feb. 20.
Dom Demito netted 17 for PJP and Denny Owens scored 10 of his 12 before the break. Balanced PJP also got seven apiece from Logan Fish, Jason Green and Bradey Bass.
Nahsier Buchanan contributed a game-high 18 for Collegium Charter.
PJP earned itself a place in the district final against No. 1 seed Bishop Shanahan. The final will be played Saturday, Feb. 24, 3:30 p.m. at Harriton High School.
