Aarick Salata had the fleet feet for the Boyertown boys basketball team Thursday night.

Fleet enough to get the Bears a 48-46 victory over Owen J. Roberts.

Salata’s runner, with just under 10 seconds left, provided Boyertown its margin of victory and first win of the Pioneer Athletic Conference slate. The Bears’ offensive lead was shared by Hunter Borgmann and Tre Diguglielmo, who each had 15 points while Chris Kiefer added 12 in the win.

Sa’Vaughn Davidheiser and Jalen Lucas led the Wildcats (0-2) with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
