Recap
Long-distance baskets were a definite friend to the Perkiomen School boys basketball team Wednesday.
Three-point goals accounted for almost half the Panthers’ offense in their 68-32 roll over Germantown Academy. They racked up 11 on the way to finishing with three players reaching double figures in points and a fourth falling just short of that mark.
Reggie James got six of his game-high 15 counters from 3-point range. Nick Guadarrama followed with 13, and Sam Corrao chipped in with 10.
Perkiomen was particularly strong in the second half, outscoring the Patriots 30-11 to pad a 38-21 halftime advantage.
