Jerry Kapp took matters into his own hands on Monday night.
Kapp scored a season-high 33 points, lifting the Boyertown boys basketball team to a 53-49 win over Pottstown in a Pioneer Athletic Conference cross-divisional matchup.
With the win, the Bears (7-12 overall), improve to 2-8 against PAC opponents and end a six-game losing skid. Pottstown (5-14 overall) drops to 3-6 in the PAC.
Kapp lit up the scoreboard all night, knocking down six 3-pointers and finishing 7-for-11 from the free throw line as Boyertown held a 35-19 advantage at the half.
Floyd Dashiell led a trio of Pottstown scorers wih 18 points, including four 3-pointers, on the night. Tre Bass scored a dizen points while Peter Marcheskie finished with 10.
