Governor Mifflin 73, Boyertown 68 >> Jerry Kapp and the Bears came oh-so-close to handing the Mustangs their first loss of the season during the Boyertown Holiday Tournament.

Kapp caught fire, scoring a game-high 43 points with nine 3-pointers while Jack McCloskey followed with 10 for Boyertown (1-2 PAC, 3-7 overall). Mifflin (8-0 overall) jumped out to a 23-15 lead after the first, but the Bears brought it to within one by the half. Rece Harman and Jared Peters led the way each with 20 points while Jeovanni Mojica and Isiah Tisdale had 13 points apiece.
