Panthers drop twinbill >> Josh Cruz and Levi Stoudt compiled two hits apiece on the afternoon as Perkiomen School dropped a non-league double header against Malvern Prep.

The Friars won the opener, 3-2 in eight innings, then closed the day with a five-inning 14-4 rout of the Panthers.

Stoudt was strong in the mound in the opener, delivering seven quality innings where he was touched for two runs on six hits while striking out nine. Cruz took the loss in the bottom of the eighth, where he could only get one out before a run crossed.

Christian Del Toro and Stoudt (three RBIs) each knocked a double in the second game after Perk scored 13 runs in the opening three innings.
