Brian Varani drove in three runs for Spring-Ford (11-4), which set the game’s tone by scoring five times in its first at-bat. Drew Skrocki and Sean McHugh each had two RBI to support winning pitcher Patrick McMahon’s five-inning mound work, which saw him strike out three while yielding just one walk.

Alex Stump went 2-for-3 to lead Pottsgrove (2-14), which managed just five hits off McMahon.
