Recap
Spring-Ford 3, Upper Perkiomen 1 >> The Rams rode Jake Zoller’s superlative pitching to victory over the Indians in their PAC-10 contest.
Zoller yielded just two hits and UP’s lone run in the sixth inning, with 11 strikeouts to his credit. The effort made Spring-Ford’s seven-hit offense, headed by Drew Skrocki’s 2-for-4 outing and Sean McHugh’s two RBI – that despite going hitless – sufficient for the win.
Bryan Pijanowski was a two-way star for Upper Perk, pitching four-hit, four-strikeout ball for five innings and going 2-for-4 at the plate with its lone RBI.
