Bryan Pijanowski drove in the go-ahead run to give Upper Perkiomen the lead in the sixth inning, as the Indians hung on to beat Pope John Paul II 5-2 Monday.
Trey Livingstone singled to start the three-run sixth, one of his two hits on the day.
Upper Perkiomen relied on Matt Schneideron the mound. Schneider allowed no earned runs, three hits and five walks while striking out five over 6 1/3 innings of work. Elias Gabel-Tripp picked up the save in relief.
Andrew John was the game’s losing pitcher. In six innings, he walked two, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
