The Wildcats’ four-run third inning proved to be enough for pitcher Corey Hennessey, who hurled a four-hit shutout for OJR.
Griffin Hensley struck the big blow, driving in three runs in the third inning during his 2-for-3 day. Only two other Wildcats managed a hit off Upper Perk starter Matt Schneider, who was solid is his six innings of work, allowing just four hits, three earned runs with five strikeouts.
Hennessey struck out eight and didn’t allow a walk.
Brett Fullerton had a pair of hits for the Indians.
