Highlights: Hudson Narke twirled a three-hit complete-game shutout to send Phoenixville over Upper Perk in a low-scoring PAC Frontier battle Thursday.
Narke struck out eight and walked two while throwing 87 pitches over seven innings.
Jake Straight worked a bases-loaded walk in the sixth inning for the would-be winning run. Wade Carruthers was the Phantoms’ top hitter, going 3-for-3 with two RBI, his two-run single in the seventh allowing Phoenixville breathing room.
Upper Perk starter Evan Witting threw five scoreless innings, allowing six hits and striking out three, and did not factor in the decision.
