Players to watch: Jeff Armstrong, Sr., P; Nick Chroscinski, Sr., 1B; Jack Hogan, Sr., P; Danny Monzo, So., C.

Outlook: The Blues will be bolstered by key newcomers like Greg Speroni (senior 3B/P) and Jack Baughman (junior P/SS). … Armstrong, who fanned 27 in 31 innings last year, and Hogan, who struck out 30 in 18, head the pitching staff while Chroscinski (.319) and Monzo (.310, 10 RBI) return hefty bats. … “With 10 returning lettermen, including six starters who played multiple positions last year, we are counting on that experience and flexibility to mesh well with our newcomers to compete in the very strong MAPL,” Drowne said.
