Brisach helps Interboro snap Del Val title

The Interboro Bucs dropped in on Academy Park Thursday. They left with a 6-2 victory over the Knights and the Del Val League baseball championship.

Noah Brisach went 3-for-3 with two doubles to set the tone for surging Interboro (13-4, 13-1). Hurler Jason Lincoln (5-1) went the distance, scattering seven hits. Brady DiGiacamo added a double in support of Lincoln.

Khari Hightower rapped two hits and drove in a pair of runs for Academy Park (9-4, 7-4).

Glen Mills 7, Penn Wood 3: Pitcher William Fulkerson struck out eight in 6â innings as the Bulls snapped a five-game losing streak. Matthew Mellon belted two doubles and Nick Seese added another for the Bulls (4-10, 4-9), who benefitted from Roland Jones’ pinch-hit RBI-single in the seventh inning.

Chichester 4, Chester 1: Pitcher Eric Baiocco struck out eight and went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to help Chi (11-3, 11-3) lock up second place in the league.
