Archbishop Wood 64, Roman Catholic 61 >> Bahsil Laster scored nine of his team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter, including two free throws in the final seconds, to lead the Vikings to a Philadelphia Catholic League win Wednesday.
Wood trailed by eight points after the first quarter, five at halftime and one at the end of the third quarter.
Justin Moore added 16 points and Carson Howard had 10 for the Vikings.
Dan Skillings led Roman with 21 points and Khalil Farmer added 18.
Girls basketball
Germantown Academy 62, Baldwin 25 >> Jessica Aponik scored 15 points and Sam Wade added 12 in the Patriots Inter-Ac win Wednesday afternoon.
GA led by six, 16-10, before taking complete control of the game in the second quarter. Th Patriots outscored Baldwin 18-3 during the eight-minute stretch to take a 34-13 lead into the locker room.
Pennridge 66, Quakertown 33 >> Katie Yoder scored 17 points to lead the Rams to a nonleague win Wednesday.
Anna Croyle and Ava Fantaskey also scored in double figures for Pennridge, totalling 15 and 10 points, respectively.
The Rams took control of the game in the second quarter, when they outscored the Panthers, 19-4.
Boys bowling
North Penn 4, Pennridge 0 >> Lucas Francis rolled a 740 series to lead the Knights to an SOL American sweep Wednesday.
Ryan Baker and Naman Parikh also topped 600, rolling 666 and 630 series, respectively.
Reid Lechowicz led the Rams with a 679 series.
Church Farm 3, Dock Mennonite 1 >> Zeke Longacre rolled a 583 series and Liam Connor 459 in the Pioneers Bicentennial Athletic League loss Wednesday.
Dock won the first game behind Longacre’s 187 and Connor’s 155.
Girls bowling
Pennridge 4, North Penn 0 >> Maribeth Baker rolled a 496 series to lead the Rams to an SOL American sweep Wednesday.
Baker rolled games of 174, 145 and 177. Megan Smith rolled a 405 series for Pennridge.
Seoyeon Lee led a short-handed North Penn team with a 339 series.
