Perkiomen School 56, Westtown 44 >> Kristen Burdo went over the 1,000-point mark for her scholastic career while leading the Panthers’ non-league victory over Westtown School.
Burdo, who came into the game at 990, topped the millenium mark by making the first of two free throws she attempted. Burdo came away with a team-high 25 points, putting her career total at 1,015.
Burdo finished with a double-double on the day, pulling down 14 rebounds. Stephanie Falcone chipped in with another 18 points for Perkiomen (3-4), which turned a 12-11 first-quarter deficit into a 26-18 halftime advantage.
