Nick Jannelli, Mike Gerzabek, Mitch Masi and Ron Miller came through to lead the Springfield boys soccer team to its second straight road win with a 3-2 Central League victory at Marple Newtown Tuesday.

Janelli scored twice in the second half including the winner after Marple Newtown’s George Lambritsios tied the game. Gerzabek made two big saves to keep the Cougars (5-2, 2-2 Central League) in the game, while Masi and Miller paced the defensive effort. Benjamin Gast tallied the first goal for Springfield.

Hunter Dyson scored the first goal for the Tigers despite being double-teamed.
