The Malvern Prep soccer team defeated Westtown School, 1-0, Thursday night. Mike Narzikul scored the goal, and Jake Hodlofski (two saves) recorded the shutout on a rain-soaked Astroturf at Malvern Prep, as the Friars dominated time of possession. The lone goal of the game came during the 38th minute of the first half when Malvern Prep’s Andrew Panzo knocked a free kick in front of the Westtown net and Mike Narzikul stepped in to head the ball past Westtown goalie Elliott Wilson. Standouts for Malvern Prep were Mike Narzikul, Andrew Panzo, Connor Dillon and Nate Albergo.
