Methacton 6, Pope John Paul II 5, 2OT

Methacton managed to shake off a slow start to top the hosting Panthers 6-5 in double OT.  Sophomore Jack Pellegrino finished his 2nd of the day with 25 seconds left in the second overtime period.  Kyle Kacala had 1G and 1A, while Stanley Kolimago added 2G and Ryan O’Toole added two assists including the game-winner. Senior goalie Harvey Smith had 10 saves and 5 goals against (a 67 save percentage) including a spectacular one-on-one stop in the 2nd overtime to keep the Warriors alive.  Methacton improves to 1-2 on the season while PJP falls to 0-1.
