Daniel Boone jumped out to a four-run lead and was able to hang on late to advance past East Pennsboro and into the second round of the District 3-AAAA playoffs.

Devon Garner (run scored) and Bryce Stout (two runs scored) each finished with two hits apiece to validate the efforts of Jordan Goodrich and Zach Brightbill on the mound. Goodrich got the start and the win, yielding three runs and one hit on six walks across 3-1/3 innings. Brightbill went the rest of the way, limiting EP to just two hits and four walks across 3-2/3 innings. He also struck out six.
