Perkiomen Valley 42, Owen J. Roberts 26 >> A strong finish fueled by winning five of the last six bouts – three courtesy the Euker family – gave Perkiomen Valley its first win over Owen J. Roberts in 13 years Wednesday in PAC action.
The decisive run began with Gavin Pascoe’s pin at 152. He was followed by Carter Euker (pin at 160), Paul Popplewell (decision at 189), Grant Euker (forfeit at 215) and Cole Euker (pin at 285) to close the match with only Dillon Bechtold’s forfeit win at 172 going in OJR’s favor.
PV’s most recent won over OJR prior to Wednesday came on Jan. 14, 2009, a 33-28 win.
