While moving seven on to national prep competition, the Hill School placed fourth as a team at the state-prep tournament hosted by Malvern Prep.
Zack Sheehan came away with a silver medal after a 3-1 loss to Wyoming Seminary’s Patrick Munn in the 138-pound final. Kyle Gorant (138), Nolan Butcher (160), Dymir Davis-Carruth (220) and Will Hare (285) all scored thirds, with Hakim Coles (182) fourth, Ted Kennedy (106) sixth and Max Shomber (195) eighth.
The top six wrestlers in each weight class move on to the National Preps, which will be held next weekend at Lehigh University.
