After completing a senior season in which he was a PAC-10, district and regional champion, and a seventh place finisher in the PIAA wrestling tournament, Boyertown’s Jordan Wertz signed his letter-of-intent to wrestle at Millersville University next winter.
“I really liked the wrestling program there (at Millersville),’ said Wertz. “The campus and the dorms were very interesting to me. They also have a fantastic business program.’
Wertz also considered Shippensburg, York and Lycoming as possible destinations for him next fall.
“Jordan truly came into his own in his senior year,’ said BASH head wrestling coach Pete Ventresca. “We are so happy that he will be continuing his wrestling career in college. He’s a great leader, wrestler and person and we will sorely miss him next year.’
Wertz will major in marketing at Millersville.
