Ridley pulled off a rare home-away Central League wrestling double dip Friday, rolling to a 60-18 win at Lower Merion before hopping on the bus home, where the Green Raiders dispatched Radnor, 56-20.
Five of Ridley’s six pins against Lower Merion came in the first period, including Cade Heverly (36 seconds at 152), Matt Sauselein (1 minute, 14 seconds at 160), Lawrence Alkins (:34 at 195), Mike Cowan (:57 at 126) and Mike Houlihan (1:29 at 138). Donte McCarthy battled into the third period before flattening his opponent in 5:07 at 120.
McCarthy, Houlihan, Heverly, Sauselein and Alkins also pinned their opponents in the win over Radnor, with Cowan and Liam Ruddy winning by major decision. Tom Meyers (170) and Austin Taylor (182) posted major decisions while heavyweight James Hong recorded a first-period pin for Radnor.

Haverford 41, Springfield 26: David Tustin won by fall at 152, Wyatt Martin pulled out a 1-0 decision over Joey Sciarrino at 160 and Chip Rossino scored a technical fall at 220 to key the Fords’ come-from-behind win. Luke Charamella pinned at 120 and his brother, Dennis Charamella, added a major decision at 138 for Springfield.
Penncrest 69, Conestoga 7: Noah Nelson (132), Joe Pyfer (170) and Austin Jacque (182) picked up pins and Bob Long captured the 220-pound bout on a 3-2 tiebreaker for the Lions, who also benefitted from eight forfeits.
