Presenting 2022-23 Daily Local News All-Area girls swimming teams
FIRST TEAM
Izzy Iwasyk, Jr., Unionville: Iwasyk was a double individual medal-winner at the PIAA 3A meet, finishing sixth in the 50 free (23.60) and eighth in girls 100 free. At districts, Iwasyk was second in 100 free and third in 50 free. Was All Ches-Mont in both 50 free and 100 free, and anchored the first place All-Ches-Mont 200 free relay team (1:38.53).
Naomi Furman, Sr., Conestoga: Furman was the state champion in the 100 breast (1:03.23). A four-year first team All-Central League swimmer, she is the school record holder in the 200 IM and 100 breast. An All-American swimmer in the 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 200 IM and 100 breast, Furman will swim next winter for the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Lily Robinson, Sr., Conestoga: The senior captain was an All-American swimmer in the 200 medley relay, 400 free relay and 50 free. A four-year All-Central League first team swimmer, Robinson will swim for Brown University.
Audrey Laganelli, Sr., Conestoga: Laganelli won two individual medals at states, placing seventh in 100 free and 200 free. Laganelli is the school record holder in the 200 free, an All-American swimmer in the 400 free relay, and a four-year All-Central League first team member. She committed the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Taiylor Tegler, Jr., West Chester East: Tegler finished second in the 100 breast at states with a personal-best time of 1:03.60. Had the top times in All-Ches-Mont for both 200 IM and 100 breast.
Flynn Truskett, Sr., West Chester Rustin: Truskett earned two individual medals at states, finishing fourth in the 100 free (50.84) and fifth in the 100 fly (55.71). Had the top time in All-Ches-Mont for girls 100 fly and second in the 100 free.
